Hi Patrons,

First of all, thank you all so, so much for your support throughout everything that's happened this year. Between the pandemic, the unrest over the summer, and the continued stress of life here in the States and abroad, it means a lot to us that you support our show. We are doing everything we can to make sure we can provide you with the most entertaining, engaging content we can make.

As you're all aware by now, starting tomorrow we'll be a Spotify Exclusive podcast. That unfortunately means that for the time being we will no longer be able to offer early releases for $1 patrons. I fought as hard as I could to keep this reward for you, but Spotify does not currently support a private RSS feed. I am told, because of the importance of this option to many creators, they are developing their own version but it's not ready yet. As soon as this feature is available, I will reinstate this reward, but for the time being, It will no longer be offered.

But it's not all bad news! I'm working with Beth to develop new merch tiers! We know everyone loves the t-shirts, and we love that you love them, but we want to find ways to get you some new items, potentially at a lower cost for some of you who may not be able to do that $20/mo tier. October has been crazy as Beth's relaunched her shop (bethberad.shop), we've migrated to Spotify, James, Chelsea, and I all moved - jeez, a lot of big changes this year for the team, eh? - but we're gonna roll these out soon, so stay tuned!

Listener polls will also return now that we're back to regular story episodes. We'll be checking in a lot more with the thieves guild going forward - at least once a month - as they pursue Margarine's quest...

We're also going to keep at the recipe cards, and maybe if people are interested, expand the food side of things here. As food continues to be a growing part of the world, it's becoming more intertwined with the creation of the show for me personally. If that's a journey you find interesting, let me know and I'll find a way to make that worth your while as well.

The Juno Shirt will ship soon, and Beth is cooking up something fun for the Holiday season for the next one, which we'll be sure to get out by the end of the year.

All this is to say thank you, sorry, and thank you. While we're all disappointed we can't offer early releases for a while, I hope you'll stick with us as we offer some new rewards and firm up the current ones. We're heading into a new era for the show that I'm so excited for, and I hope you'll be with us every step of the way.

Speaking of these uncertain times, since we've been recording at a distance, we've raised over $1000 for food based charities around the world by donating the food portion of the show's expenses. People in need from Detroit, Mexico, DC, Uganda, and beyond received essential help with accessing food because of you.
