2025-01-29 02:34:41 +0000 UTCI never liked Charles, the fact that his hatred for alvena outweighs the love he has for his children speaks volumes about him, although, this snippet allows you to see a bit more of the depth you have put into his character. To get a sense of the termoil in his mind. I'm happy as this allows us to see more of a human side of him. Merry Christmas btw! Can beraly wait for the rest of the demo. 😆😅

2024-12-26 07:15:50 +0000 UTCI like how Charles wish he have more kids with Isabelle, meaning it's still possible for a what if the MC was Isabelle's second child if Alvena didn't poison her while she was pregnant. So Charles wanted to execute Alvena for what she did to Isabelle's but could not do so without starting a war with her kingdom. I'm guessing he married her for the same reason he did in the old version.

He lacks the strength to make meaningful change and remains rigid in his traditions to a point that is suffocating for his family and his country. That being said, this was a very interesting look into his motivations.

2024-12-25 06:05:56 +0000 UTCYes! I've been waiting for this, what a great Christmas present! How fascinating to see in Charles's head. He's such a complex, nuanced and grey character. Interesting that all the heirs correlate to Charles's brothers. We knew Freya was basically Francis reborn, but to know Richard and Atheris are like Leopold and Louis. And some dialogue choices has Charles admit MC is like himself. Fascinating. And his talk about having wanted three children with Isabelle and wishing MC was Isabelle's... I'm guessing MC will be an Isabelle third-born in the What If? Now the fitting next POV is Richard's POV listening to this conversation. Great job!
