Hello! I've been watching you since your ytp era when I was just a kid, and I think some of your later content shaped my humour to be dry as I grew up. I joined twitter initially just to follow creators I enjoyed but I've since stopped using it as much in recent years cuz it's just filled with negativity. I primarily use discord for communicating but that's mostly for irl connections more than online ones. And most recently I've joined this patreon! I don't always have time to watch the podcasts but I joined because of how connected it now feels as a communuty like you've mentioned. You've been one of the first ever youtubers I watched, and I'm still watching today, thank you so much for the laughs and enjoyment over the years! 😁

I discovered you in 2021 apparently?? I really feel like it's been WAY longer than that. It was March 12 and my first ever video was the "what it's like to play through every wii game". Then I binged your content for like 2 days and subscribed on March 14. And I've been in the Patreon for a year now! Last April was when I joined. Time really has no meaning anymore πŸ’€ Also I'm only in the Discord for the emotes 🀣 PETER NOT THE REACH AROUND LOOOOOL. Stop, you're gonna make me feel even more delusional than I already am 🀣 In all seriousness, I really love this space. I wouldn't care if you just stopped posting on here because I know that my monetary support is helping you do fun stuff on the main channel. But I really appreciate the random updates, podcasts, bts content, even when you're complaining about something. I also just think the community here also appreciates you and these videos. Thanks for being cool 😎

I can't remember how I found your channel back in 2015 (Omg, I've been watching you for about 9 years, dang), but it was probably Sonic related lol I'm kinda sad you're not on Twitter anymore, since we've DMed before from my original Frostfire the Kannik account and I felt super special that you followed both my (new) main account and Sonic account, but your reason is totally sound and understandable. Patreon is superior (even though I do like Discord heheh). I'm honestly glad I can contribute to your channel now (I say that like I haven't done so for months already πŸ˜‚), I would've done so a long time ago if the option were available. So yeh

When modders bring back Miiverse you should use that for your community

i’m not a perfect person (hoobastank reference), but the topic of description links taking viewers to external websites could also apply to sponsorships. while it does help you by having viewers check out the products you are promoting, it does also somewhat apply to the theory that the algorithm sees that some of your viewers are trafficked away from youtube. i don’t know the exact logic behind the theory, but it’s probably something worth looking into (and even experiment with, like you already plan on doing)

Heyhey Peter, I've been a subscriber since 2017, after watching the stranded offline video and agreeing on the whole Star Wars Jedi Outcast, but a Patreon Member recently. As a viewer, I am glad to know that you really appreciate and care about your community, and in turn, makes me feel that I do feel part of it.

Hey, Peter! I've been a Patreon fan since February of 2023 and a YouTube subscriber since mid-2017. Your YTPs introduced me to your channel, but then I watched some of your other stuff and I've been so grateful ever since that you're a family-friendly YouTuber. YouTube doesn't get enough family-friendly YouTubers. I'm so glad you care about your community as a YouTuber. I care about my own as well and want to interact with my community as much as possible. But I can understand your perspective on how you don't want people that will just pop in to your Twitter posts and not really be loyal to your channel. I also have sites that I don't pay attention to anymore that I've been debating on deleting my accounts for... But anyways. The times you've interacted with your community really puts a smile to my face because it really helps establish a closer bond between you and your community on the other side of the screen. And I'll especially be ever so grateful for the times you've interacted with me personally whether that be through Twitter responses and other times you've shouted me out, like that one time you were in your friend John's Twitch stream and you said hi to me. It makes me wonder what your thoughts are on making interactivity more personal by hosting voice chats or limited-time 1-on-1 video calls with fans, things like that. Maybe you could make it like a $50 tier on Patreon or something. I would totally pledge for that! Cuz I'd love to talk to my favorite English-speaking YouTuber in real-time! If not a group voice chat or a 1-on-1 video call, perhaps you could make interactions more meaningful for fans by announcing their names more when you do someone's art request or do a Q&A video and announce their names? Just a thought. Sorry for my long comment, but thanks for reading and interacting with us! It means a lot! <3

Hi Peter! So Ive been a patreon since about May last year and I've been watching your videos probably around a year and a half. I've never really been I to Twitter or discord or anything like that so the only time I would interact with you or your content was pretty much strictly on YouTube until I became a patreon member. I've honestly really enjoyed being a patreon and I've always felt like it's very close knit and it has the ability to revolve more around you and your content more than platforms like Twitter and discord do. While I'm not big on commenting on things in general, I like that paying for the patreon gives me the sense of being a part of the community without having to actively communicate with other fans. It's always seemed a lot more personal and one on one than YouTube in general and even other Patreon communities that I'm a part of. I'm very excited for your chow video!!! I definitely prefer your "crafting" sort of videos. Thanks for taking the time to actively explain what's going on with your channel! Sorry this got so long lol I just wanted to answer all the questions you had.
