What 10 Years of Editing Does to Your Brain

What 10 Years of Editing Does to Your Brain

Comments

I've been doing YouTube/Video Editing for a little bit over 5 years switching between different softwares but now I've been with DaVinci Resolve. Being an editor so even that amount of time makes me rethink things I watch and put more thought into how a scene was edited or even picking up on errors that are really unnoticeable truly. As of writing this comment, I'm only like a minute into the video so I have no idea what I'm really in for.

Thank you for being my father figure for this video Pather

Is there a reason you didn’t choose da Vinci resolve? No hate to yourself, but I’ve heard pretty horrible things about Adobe performance and price and considering davinci is free i thought it would be an easy go-to

Eyyy, another VideoPad user!

I'm technologically illiterate so I'm stuck with VideoPad 🙃 I envy your skills, sir.

I have pro videographer friends who swear by DaVinci Resolve but I'm a noob/hobbyist and I think Premiere is easier to use (probably because I've used other Adobe software for like 10 years) so seeing you using premiere makes me feel better about my life choices

Hearing your process for video editing is really eye opening, especially considering how high quality your editing is. Unfortunately I use Videopad so most of this doesn't really apply to me, but I'm trying to pick up what I can! :)

as one of the 3 people who care, i’ve been wanting to get into content creation and video editing for a while. your particular editing style has great comedic timing whilst maintaining the short attention span of us adhd scum. whenever i start creating content, i’ll definitely be adopting your style of editing and hopefully be half as entertaining. just gotta get my engineering degree first

Thanks so much for the preview of Premiere Pro! I've used VEGAS Movie Studio 15.0 for quite a long time, but it's not made for Windows 11, so I'm thinking of switching to a different video editing software. I think you and I have similar styles of video editing, so I think Premiere Pro might work good for me! Now I just need to save the money. Thanks again for showing us your workflow!
