This will make more sense when the video goes live in a day or two, but these are to-scale plans for building a full sized arcade cabinet.
It will fit any screen of choice that isn't wider than 27 inches total (including the bezel) and although I can't make any claims about weight, my TV I used was very heavy, but this holds it no problem. I designed it a bit overkill on purpose. Note that you'll need to manually go in and change the TV front cover panels to fit whatever screen you have, but you can view and edit these plans easily in SketchUp.
These plans also include the chair and racing wheel mount (as seen on the left) and are in STL and SKP formats. You can just throw this in SketchUp in your browser, and use the tape measure tool to see the exact size of each part.
This one is made for 2x4s and 3/4inch thick MDF, but you can use plywood, just make sure you get the same thickness, or adjust for thinner pieces. For mine, I used 16 total 2x4s at 8 feet long, and 4 total 4'x8' panels of MDF/Plywood. That doesn't leave much room for bad cuts, so a bit extra wood can be good to have.
This also has a side drawer to access the hardware you put inside without moving the thing. You'll need a drawer rail for that of course.
ANYTHING in this build can be modified in SketchUp. You just have to right click and edit component, but I aint no tutorial so, teaching you how to use the program is above my paygrade.
I'll be making this post free, it's just on this site because it's easier to archive files here than whatever else I would do. Enjoy and Employ!
