This week, my cold got a bit worse again. It subsided long enough for me to record the Pocket PC video, but then it came back strong, so instead of recording today, I'm putting together all the 3D scans of my basement stuff I've been collection for a week or so. I'll have a much cleaner model and I'll use some better lighting. Make it look pretty legit. I'll throw a pic on here once it's done. I'll enjoy using the 3D transitions a lot more if they're a bit more polished, so I'm excited about this.
So as for what I'm recording this week (if I still exist) I'm going to be turning this block set into a real working PC. https://pantasy.com sent it to me and I thought making it functional would be pretty sweet. They have some other neat electronic models too, so maybe I'll work with them again in the future. I like em' so we'll see how the vid turns out.
I love having the POV cam now, especially for projects like this one. All the troubleshooting off-camera can now be a part of the content again, instead of just getting cut out because there's no footage if I leave frame. I like showing the process and issues that need to be solved with old tech videos and whatnot. It's important for conveying the nostalgic vibe, imo.
Okeydoke. I'm headed back to Blender. Thanks for being here. Howdy to the new folk!
