Today is my birthday! 🎉 I’m officially 32 years old~ I used to feel the urge to conceal how old I am (especially once I hit 30), but I’ve since realized it’s a privilege to age. To my younger followers, please know that your 30s are not old, it’s okay if you don’t have your life figured out yet. You have the rest of your life to change and reinvent yourself as many times as you want! It turns out that “growing up” has no finish line, you do it for the rest of your life! 💗

I’ve been feeling kinda depressed lately, so I almost didn’t celebrate my birthday…but at the last minute, I decided to visit a local botanical garden and wildlife sanctuary with my family! And it was awesome! Or maybe I’m just a geek for narrated tram tours about ferns. Florida may be….Florida, but it’s also home to so many incredible species! Favorite part of the day was the gator pit, hands down. My photo doesn’t do the sheer size of the alligators justice, they were huge! This particular park had many, maaaaaany roaming peacocks, including a leucistic white male named Prince Charming!

If I can be a bit dark for a moment, when I was younger, I never really pictured myself making it past 20. Let alone to 32! My life hasn’t always been easy, and I haven’t always made the best decisions. But I’ve kept going. And I’ll keep going, keep learning, keep growing! I’m proud to be here, dear patrons. I’m happy to be here. And I’m so, so grateful to have you all here with me! <3
