Balthazar draws his design cues from Baphomet. >:3 I think it's kinda funny how historically speaking, Baphomet is just some guy (read: a pagan symbol of balance) that was later made out by the church to be Literally Satan. Just like Balthazar!

What with the focus on androgyny, Bal having breasts, being a goat (obviously), stoking flames of conservative hate, and even talking to children? Because I am fucking hereeeeeee for it either way

2024-12-21 17:20:20 +0000 UTCI get kinda shy talking about music I like because growing up my family had a pretty narrow view of what was considered real music, and were all so church-indoctrinated they literally believed rock music was satanic. I remember my cousin whispering to warn me that AC/DC stood for "After Christ, Devil Comes". Guhh so embarrassing. Anyway I like most mainstream hard rock & heavy metal artists, I think there's something to appreciate about every genre of rock. I even like groups rock fans aren't "supposed" to like, eg. Nickleback, Creed. I guess I'd recommend Nightwish, I only learned about them recently. And Judas Priest, I've been listening to a ton of Judas Priest lately. :3 Black Sabbath of course, Rob Zombie/White Zombie, Rage Against The Machine too. I'm pretty picky about the vocals in my metal, I don't really like lyrics that are just *unintelligible throaty screaming* cuz I want to know what the song is about! Also I'm always a little miffed when sick ass guitar riffs/instrumentation is paired with goofy ass vocals, which definitely makes it tough to be an AC/DC fan (jk I'm a huge AC/DC fan idc if Scott and Johnson somehow both sound like marge simpson)

2024-12-21 16:26:35 +0000 UTCYup. Topher got grounded and his room was searched for any "devil contraband"- Merry found a Bal t-shirt and CD and trashed them, to Topher's fury and mortification. Topher is banned from listening to anything but Merry-approved, godly music. Buuuuut there's a place where Toph can go to listen to all the music he wants for free- the CD store at the mall. This is when Topher enters his mall goth phase and ends up exposed to all kinds of secular music, including his all-time favorite genre, punk rock. Then Merry and Eleanor's divorce leaves them both far too affected and apathetic to keep Topher on as tight a leash, so he starts experimenting with alternative fashion and blasting Bal on his walkman (walkdog?). Merry fully blames Balthazar for corrupting his poor, sweet little pup, not realizing that Bal only gave Topher an outlet to express the rage and hurt he'd felt for years living under Merry's thumb.

Bal is, and has always been very comfortable in his own skin, he's always known he's a man. Also, Bal is a playful pot-stirrer and quite likes pushing the limits of androgyny, he likes his public image to be one of undeniable in-your-face queerness that disturbs the sort of people he feels oughta be disturbed.

I cant tell if his chest was just naturally small or if his pecs are just that huge. either way i respect the hell out of him, but if hes non-op it would be really cool to me, as a trans guy who hasnt had top surgery (and even if/when i do i want to preserve a small amount of tissue to stay proportional to my fat body)

He was showing sheep pics and I was like “oh is that a Jacob sheep?” He was shocked and asked how on earth I knew that. Just smiled and said I have my ways 😌 (being a furry and extremely invested in Fuzzbutts)
