Topher and Skye will come out of this as friends (with benefits), with Skye learning Topher’s smug brat act was simply that, an act. He’s a decent dude underneath all that smarm, engaging and intelligent enough to debate with her until she wants to rip her fur out. Topher makes for a good sounding board whenever Skye is frustrated with her job/her life/society in general, and she likes the way he encourages her to stop suppressing her anger and start smashing things instead, be they societal expectations, objects, or y’know, Topher. In her weaker moments, Skye finds him just a little charming. Or maybe she juuuuust can’t help herself when it comes to irritating bad boys. Sigh.

From what the bonus doodle implies (if it occurred directly after the main drawing) was Skye still dating Fang at this point, or was she currently with Sunny when she decided have fun with Topher here? (I’m gonna guess the latter, since Fang doesn’t seem the kinda guy to agree to an open relationship, and I highly doubt Skye would ever cheat on anyone, no matter how shitty they are.)

So cool that she can be angry and true to herself and still be awesome, let me explain, usually women especially in my culture are demonice for feeling anger, sure there this stereotype outside of "fire temper hot latina" but here we are treated as overdramatic just for getting angry or sad in situations that are frustrating and tragic, but no "mujeres locas quien las entiende" aka we are too complicated to handle 🙄 And sadly men with soft personalities that actually talk about their feelings, don't enjoy "what men are supposed to like" and oh que escándalo! actually cry, are also very judge about "not being manly enough", basically it all because sexism osea machismo. So I always loved when people create characters that change roles? in a good way, like ladies that like to be the boss and guys that like to be follow the ways of these ladies. Also why it's so funny for me that Topher can have all this strong pretty ladies that are his sister crushes but Honey can't even make them like her? 🤣 Mal and Skye tolerate her at best, and brother and sister have to same tendencies of being antagonists with people they like, I wonder if Topher ever teaser her about that, cuz I would that siblings behavior 💯 But why is that mister have better results if they similar in that "way of caching attention"? Maybe because unlike Honey, this is a act he uses and don't believe the things he says? And he actually can be pleasant to have around and isn't as... lets say "close minded" as his sister? Questions aside I really want to see the siblings interactions with this information, oh so much fun, sorry Honey 😅
