There’s an idea. I knew other artists offered NSFW tiers at higher prices, it didn’t occur to me you could just have a duplicate regular tier to post NSFW art to. Hmm.

A lot of other artists I follow do that (and they just kinda duplicate a specific tier and mention that it includes NSFW doodles) and it seems to work well for them, but again, this is your Patreon, and I, for one, am here for ALL of your art. 💕 But now that my dumb ass has had enough sleep, I also understand it comes from a place of embarrassment too, at least a little. Which I sympathize with (I'm chaotic and after a long life of being punished for AuHD behaviors I refuse to bow to shame when it comes to my art anymore, I'm here to have fun damn it)!

Honey has a crush on Skye and would like to be her friend, but Honey is a little twerp, so odds of them ever hooking up are very, very low. Nope, Skye is dating Sunny, loves Sunny. Though they are in an open relationship. Sunny and Bruce are roommates, and Bruce may or may not have a crush. That's about all I've put forth so far. :3

And he’s right. And for this reason, he figures it’s best left unsaid. Summer would EVENTUALLY be fine knowing Topher and Skye banged, but not before she hit Topher with a shovel at least once

You are fully aware of what your comfort zone currently is, and you’re addressing explicit themes in a way that falls within that comfort zone. (And of course total sex repulsion/aversion is fine too for those is applies to.) It may change later on or maybe it won’t, but I think what’s important is that you’re doing whatever feels right for you at the time, and you clearly put thought into how your characters approach sex and are finding ways to display that while remaining in that comfort zone. So props!

2024-11-30 23:54:39 +0000 UTCI don't thiiiiink I'd ever descend into drawing porn outright (knock on wood). Idk, I just get....embarrassed? Even looking back at old porny MLP stuff I drew years and years ago, it's like....aaaagh. I can draw fanservice and casual nudity and suggestive stuff no prob, but actual explicit content is a mental no-go for me. And that's weird, because I feel that sex and queerness go hand in hand (asexuals respectfully included, of course), sex can be a valuable way to explore how characters think and feel. There are some incredible furry artists out there that weave slice of life with aggressive kink so seamlessly, it blows my mind at how good and human their stories are. Like, I'm dying at how pervy it feels for Topher's face to be in Skye's BUTT, but also like, that's part of Skye's character, she's got a big ass and she likes people to kiss it, both figuratively and literally. Idk, again, while I doubt I'm ever gonna draw characters smashing, I think there's great story potential in having characters talk about sex and kink and explore their sexuality.

There are some people who aren't gonna be into it but at the end of the day it is your patreon and its your call what you wanna post. I do know artist who do both nsfw and sfw art and they make the nsfw art a different tier on their patreon so you could do that if you're worried about it. Other side of it is if you post smutty art people might be more likely to leave lewd comments too but the internet tends to be like that no matter what type of content you post

Horny situation drawings can be granted some levity if they're really funny 🙈 Like, for example, I draw a lot of lycan characters, and I have made a joke illustration in the past of my character shifted during a rut, and his girlfriend making eyeball emojis at his Goods™, and my best friend was like, "I don't know how I feel about this", and we had a semi-serious discussion about it, and she said as long as it's always a joke, it wouldn't make her uncomfortable to see her characters in those situations (but I also haven't drawn anything more explicit that wasn't humans, so 💀). I understand this situation is a bit different because of the fact that it's Patreon, but that's my personal opinion at least.
