I remember a drawing I did a while back where Honey suggests she and Sunny fake-date just to keep their parents off their backs (she's quickly cut short by Skye's possessive glower). I'm having a tough time thinking up a scenario where they'd date for real. Sunny and Honey get along fairly well, they have a pleasant, if somewhat shallow friendship. But Honey has known she was attracted to women for as long as she can remember, and Sunny, as far as she knows, is very much a man. Sunny meanwhile has a very specific type- pushy and dominating and a lil bit freaky- and probably would find Honey's passive and nice girl-next-door thing pretty boring. Even if Honey were to date fem Sunny, she'd be disappointed to learn Sunny is a dumb party girl and self-proclaimed slut, not Honey's cottagecore lesbian dream girl.

I doubt it'd be a good relationship for either of them in the longterm (especially with Honey being a lesbian) but if the factors were just a little different- with her being a foil to Skye, is there enough overlap to make a relationship there and what would that even look like???

Now that they've all shifted to more humanoid anatomy, welp, if Skye were to take off her clothes she'd probably face a public indecency charge. That said, she and Sunny do like trips to nude beaches and parks, and may or may not have a thing for semi-public sex (the kind where the goal is to not get caught)

She finds the whole idea kinda terrifying and suffocating, like how does Sunny know he'll want her forever? Or that he won't die and leave her anyway? Sunny in turn still has some maturing to do, for him marriage is just a sweet fantasy (and a means of convincing his anxious puppy brain that Skye will never leave him).
