Scribble Comic: Physicality
Added 2023-09-04 16:10:46 +0000 UTClast night I set out to plan a short comic exploring an important conversation Dom and Tadeo had prior to officially beginning their relationship, buuuut the whole thing just got out of hand. The conversation ended up dragging on, delving into Dom’s feelings of inadequacy (and later guilt) over his past relationship with Leah, and Tadeo being worried and doubtful that Dom could be happy with him. Tadeo enjoys sex and intimacy but fears putting Dom in a position where Dom feels obligated to engage in it.
The entire convo also started digging into discussion of boundaries and sex acts and fantasies that I ended up feeling weren’t really appropriate for a (mostly) sfw patreon. The gist of it is that Dom is a sex-neutral ace, he proposes he would like to, in time, explore sexual intimacy with Tadeo. Tadeo is resistant to Dom wanting to do this for his sake while not getting much out of it in return, Dom argues that he would indeed feel a satisfaction from fulfilling Tadeo’s physical needs and being intimate together, then they both get flustered from the conversation and agree to take things slow. It’s a scene I may explore again later, for now I decided to only clean up and post the first part of their conversation cuz I thought it was cute. :3 Tadeo is a lil shit sometimes, Dom likes it more than he lets on

People get this idea in their heads that since I'm a little herbivore, all I want is innocent hand-holding and shy glances and- Dom: Tadeo. Buddy. I've read your fanfics. Tadeo, turning bright red: ....Oh. Oh, dear. Dom: Yeah. Tadeo, weakly: T-Then....then you read the parts about- Dom: Lord Sabretooth? Tadeo: *sigh* .....and his loyal jester, Tinytrunk. Ah geez. *wringing hands* I guess I wasn't as subtle as I thought... Dom: Oh not at ALL, dude. Stellar plotline though. Everytime you update, I settle in with a bowl of fish crackers. Really looking forward to chapter eighteen. Tadeo: *dumb flattered grin* Uh, well...if you're up for it....maybe I could get started writing soon, if I had the right inspiration...ah ha, w-within your comfort level, of course… Dom, grinning back: Well...if chapter six is anything to go by, we both know Lord Sabre would do anything for Tinytrunk....*pulls off shirt* Tadeo, reverently: ....Meu deus. Or maybe I'll never find time to write again. ❤️

2023-09-04 21:24:28 +0000 UTCAs a sex neutral ace myself i really like this concept! its nice to see more stories exploring the nuances of asexuality and its impact on relationships. my biggest fandom has a canonically ace character, but his exact flavor of asexuality is ambiguous since the podcast is a supernatural horror drama and it’s not really relevant - but the fandom (which has a sizable ace population) has so many different interpretations of him and what he’s comfortable with. The Magnus Archives fanfic is the one place I’ve found where ive seen so much variation and nuance in depiction of asexuality, and it’s lovely to see that reflected in fuzzbutts as well! i would love to see dom and tadeo’s full conversation about sexuality and intimacy :)

Its also super nice to see an Ace character that isn't sex repulsed or simply paired off with another Ace character as that tends to be really commom trend. As a super long time follower, It's also super cool to see you explore your Asexual characters more and how Asexuality can impact their relationships. I have had plenty of times in my life where I crushed on someone BUT didn't really want to pursue a relationship with them because I worried about the fact I could never fulfill the more sexual aspects of the relationship that where important to them. I've also had to end a really good relationship because of this as well. In my personal experience, being Ace but also getting crushes is a bit hard and emotionally taxing because your thoughts always wind up "I love this person but idk if I can fulfill the intimacy portion" Communication is Key in these types of situations! EITHER WAY SUPER LONG RAMBLE ASIDE, Its cool so see this, please keep it up ^^

A lot of (though not all of course) asexual people like and enjoy sex. Because it just physically feels good. They just don’t have *sexual attraction*. I appreciate seeing that portrayed somewhat here!
