Oh, they would absolutely get along. Summer is always looking for a new playmate!
I’m kinda inconsistent with the anatomy of my fuzzbutt folk, with their bodies leaning more humanoid or animalistic depending on what I want the drawing to accomplish (*coughcough* Biscuit’s fanservicey mombod *cough*). But the (un)official rule is, FB critters have bodies that look more like an irl animal forced to stand on two legs than an outright human body. Their legs are shorter than a human’s, they have longer, thicker necks, and their spines are much more flexible. Most FB animals can comfortably transition from bipedal to quadrupedal movement. They run faster on on all fours, though it’s seen as highly undignified and childish, since it means you have to dirty your hands walking along the ground. Dogs have the least social hang-ups about breaking into a quad run, and will frequently bolt after anything small and fast that catches their eye.
The sport of fetch is universal among pursuit predators, especially canines. Regular fetch involves either a friend throwing a ball or taking a visit to a ball-launching device (think irl batting cages). Fetch, as well as Tag, Tug-of-war, and Herding (involving players corralling a group of unpredictable moving objects-sometimes beach balls, sometimes actual herd animals) are all commonly played among dogs young and old, even being professional sporting events broadcast on television to millions of dedicated fans worldwide.
