Biscuit is delighted to learn a new canine has moved into the neighborhood! A playful and soft-spoken woman in her early forties, a fellow mother, and a medical professional as well? It’s as though the stars have aligned to grant Biscuit a best friend! And so gorgeous and tall, whew. Biscuit practically has to jog to keep up- but that’s alright, for some reason she hardly minds the exercise….

Carmen Dega is a maned wolf, a single mom, and coincidentally, a gynecologist at the same clinic where Biscuit is employed as an obstetrician. She’s an expy of Willow, an old pandoraverse character. As the new dog in town, she will politely entertain all of Biscuit’s overeager invitations for tea and gossip. Their worlds are a bit different- Carmen is a talented dancer and adores the kind of music and fashion that Biscuit has always written off as distasteful…but being around her simply feels exciting somehow, Carmen makes Biscuit feel decades younger. She might even feel up to dusting off a few of her own dance moves for Carmen (and determinedly pretending her poor muscles are not screaming bloody murder the next day at work). Biscuit is thrilled to learn Carmen has a young puppy of her own- Primrose- and gets right on swapping baby pics and stories of her own (sadly grown-up) pups.
