Miss Hutchworth is a small player in the world of Fuzzbutts, a kindly (if a bit nervous) demure doe that wants nothing more than to make the world a better place. Marnie is a primary school teacher at Dogdale Deaf Academy, located a hop, skip, and a jump away from Pawberry Acres. Marnie is quite adept at sign language, and being a hearing individual herself, she is often tasked with being an interpreter for her students. She is pictured here on a campus forage with one of her shyer students, a young mole named Victor. We will see more of Marnie quite soon.
Beneath her polite exterior, Marnie hides a secret temper, various insecurities, and a steep tendency toward overthinking. Her true feelings are sometimes betrayed by her own involuntary rabbit behaviors ("thumping" or stamping her foot when irritated or startled, "binkying"- a spastic happy hop when excited).

2022-12-31 04:59:31 +0000 UTCI'll take that into consideration, thank you. :) I used "hearing-impaired" as an umbrella term to include people with any and all degree of hearing loss, but I will be more mindful with my language in the future.

2022-12-31 00:50:22 +0000 UTCHey Lop, I hope you won't take offense but something I feel compelled to point out (disclaimer, not deaf or hard-of-hearing myself but very close to people who are) maybe consider changing "hearing impaired" to just deaf or hard-of-hearing. Hearing impaired can sometimes be considered offensive to deaf folk who don't necessarily see their deafness as an impairment. Love this character, loving all of this, I mean zero offense, just something I felt I need to mention. Thank you.
