I wanted to spotlight how more of the characters sleep, but I've got work tomorrow. For now, have some tidbits about roommates Sunny and Bruce, and how beds work in FB. :3
The average citizen in Fuzzbutts is small to medium size (eg. dogs, cats, frogs, bats), with larger animals (eg. bears, elephants, crocodiles) being outliers. For this reason, there's not much point in the average critter owning a large, human-sized bed. In fact, large, open sleeping spaces make many critters instinctively feel uncomfortable and unsafe. The average bed in FB is juuuust big enough to contain the person sleeping within, with larger models being available for couples or nesting parents with young children.
Sunny's bed is on the larger side, as Skye sleeps over a lot ("Skye....what if we kissed....on my melon bed? >:3"). Bruce comparatively has no sleeping space to accommodate a lover or guest, which is exactly how he likes it. It keeps his pain-in-the-ass big brother from trying to sleep over ("I can't even fit me head in your bed, Bruno!"). It does not, however, keep his idiot roommate from bothering him whenever there's a spooky thunderstorm at night- Sunny just insists they co-sleep in Sunny's bed, he's known to even pick up Bruce's entire den-cubby and place it on his melon bed.
