Happy Valentine's Day, everybody! This request caught my eye because it made me wonder how monty and smoky could ever conceivably kiss. Smokescreen is a giant lip-less lizard insect beast, while Montezuma has a fairly inflexible beak-mouth type thing. Mushing their mouthparts together as a show of affection is not a behavior that would naturally come to their respective species, but Smoky and Monty were both socialized by ponies, and thus find themselves compelled to smooch when they feel sappy. It takes them oh, maybe twenty separate attempts to figure out the logistics of kissing, but eventually they discover they can manage tongue kisses so long as they are careful with their teeth and unwieldy dinosaur snoots. Kissing isn't something they get up to super often (and especially not in public- ponies tend to get freaked out by giant monster make-out sessions), but it does happen, when the mood strikes. Mostly though, Smoky and Monty show affection through preening, nipping, nuzzling, sharing their "kills" (sometimes a whole roasted fish, sometimes just a cool shiny rock), "sharing breath" (this one is a very significant courtship behavior for dragons), snuggling, snout boops, and giving grooming kisses (that thing where a housecat mlems its kitten).
