-Penny (Ring-tailed Lemur) is a big personality in a teeny-tiny package. Loud, goofy, and just a little self-centered, Penny nonetheless means well. Mostly, Penn just wants to be liked, which means annoying the tenants of the boarding house. Penn was forced to drop out of clown college when their grandma croaked and left them the boarding house, so they have an extensive background in acrobatics and circus work. Penn can tell a joke, make you a balloon animal, and juggle with their feet, all at the same time. And they're going to be very huffy if you're not impressed. Penny is nonbinary and uses "whatever pronouns are funniest at the moment". She's a BIG flirt, though she panics if anybody actually flirts back.

-Cupcake (Kodiak Bear) is god. Damn. Massive. She seems to have a permanent slouch, because 1.) she is not confident, and 2.) if she stands to her full height she's like 10 feet tall, and she's found that makes little animals pretty nervous. Having been raised by sugar gliders, Cupcake has no idea how to dress for her size/body type and simply wears whatever clothes fit. Cupcake often looks like she's trying to go unnoticed, which is difficult when you're one of the largest terrestrial carnivores on the planet. Her best (only?) friend is Penny, who is dumb enough to pay little mind to Cupcake's massive strength and claws. Penny can often be found riding on Cupcake's shoulder, either encouraging her friend to be more assertive, or trying to pick fights with anybody that slights Cuppers ("Um, excuse me?? My friend here asked for no pickles!!")

Lune (Whitetail Deer): Lune is a leucistic deer, hence the white coat. His former cult, Rangale, thought it meant he'd been blessed by their deer god, and hyped the shit out of Lune's eventual time to take over leadership from his father. Even now, Lune is a bit vain over his appearance, and takes very good care of himself. Having grown up in a restrictive deer cult, Lune is pretty repressed and not sure at all about what his sexual orientation is. He can concede that he probably isn't straight, but gets skittish about using actual labels. Take your time, Lune.

Victoria (Whitetail Deer): Victoria is a piebald deer, which is a coat mutation her former herd found blotchy and unsightly. Victoria was often told that no buck would want such a doe as the mother of his children, to which Victoria thought....cool. Awesome. Unlike Lune, Tori has known she was a big ol honkin' lesbian since basically forever. Unfortunately, queer deer are frowned upon in Rangale, and even subject to excommunication, so Victoria stayed silent and timidly admired does from afar. Now that she and her brother are free, however, Victoria is rather shy about talking to women and her "freeze" prey instinct leads her to stammer when nervous. She is still somewhat insecure about her spotty coat, no matter how Lune (extremely awkwardly) assures her she's beautiful the way she is.
