Are the Dazzlings sisters?
Added 2020-08-10 17:28:18 +0000 UTCHowdy, y'all! Just got back from a week long roadtrip, please pardon the inactivity! Im thinking of doing some headcanons on sirens. So my question to yall is, Do you think the Dazzlings (Adagio, Aria, and Sonata, from EQG: Rainbow Rocks) are sisters? I assumed they were, but looking back at official material it seems their only canon connection is "bandmates'. What do you personally headcanon them to be?

I saw them as having a sisterly relationship (maybe not the nicest, a lot of the time). Sometimes I encounter shipping of them, and it doesn't bother me or anything. Sometimes it's them making true attempts at romance. Often it's just casual things that come with traveling around with someone for hundreds of years, and they're the only ones who actualy no each other through all their secrecy.

2020-08-11 05:37:23 +0000 UTCI never even considered it, but it scratches my Greek/Roman mythology itch to have a trio of wicked mythical beasts being sisters. Probably sprung out of some weird god-like creature/pony mortal type relationship, or the decapitated head of Grogar or some sh*t

2020-08-10 22:20:50 +0000 UTCI've never really thought about it before... Hmnn. I honestly don't mind any interpretation of 'em.

2020-08-10 21:00:50 +0000 UTCI always assumed they were blood sisters until this poll. But now that I’m thinking about it more I feel like they have sisterly bond- not by blood but by commitment

2020-08-10 19:08:53 +0000 UTCI like them as adoptive sisters. Maybe the last of their specific clan of sirens who initially worked together as a means to an end (i.e. to get revenge on the ponies that pushed their society to brink of extinction), only to awkwardly stumble into a pseudo-family that, while not particularly loving, would die for each other.

2020-08-10 17:58:45 +0000 UTCI don't know if I ship them exactly, buuut when the movie first came out I saw some fan art where the three were together and I personally really liked the idea of the three of them being happily mated evil lesbian sirens that go around enslaving hapless teenagers in alternate dimensions buuuut I'm a romantic at heart so sue me ;p So I guess I personally don't see them as related either way BUT I am very eager to see any headcanons you have about them and where they came from if you see them as sisters :D

2020-08-10 17:56:51 +0000 UTCIn my HC the sirens had almost a small matriarchal society, with like their own queen and stuff. Otherwise, would just 3 really be enough of a threat to get yeeted out of the dimension?
