Bich we are not FRIENDS. We are practically internet MARRIED at this point so check yo self >0 And haha suffer! You know they'd be flippin adorable. Tender love and affection and years of bestie friendhood, all wrapped up in quiet one-sided angst and the belief they would never be able to work as a couple. The princess and the kindergarten teacher. Choke on it And pffff yeah I can totally see Bulk and Pound being completely oblivious to what is so obvious. Featherweight I can see catching on pretty fast over the years (he's a sharp one) but while he'd like to reach out and properly meet his little brother, the situation is a little awkward to him and he doesnt know how. Like "hey there! Pretty sure my dad had a kinky thing with your parents at one point and long story short, I'm 99% sure you're my little bro! Wanna get a coffee?". OR, Bulk is fully aware that he is Pound's biological father (he's pretty good buddies with Mr Cake who has often sadly talked about his fertilty problems and desire to be a dad). Bulk was one of the Cake's friends and casual lovers, and when Mrs Cake turned up pregnant after one of their fun nights, they all knew there was a good chance Bulk could be the sire. After the twins were born, it was pretty obvious that Pound at least shared his DNA. While Bulk assured them that if they needed ANY help at all (money, diapers, you name it) he had their backs but it was up to them to decide what role Bulk would play in Pound's life. The three talked about it for a while, and mutually agreed that Bulk woukd be there for Pound if he ever wanted to reach out and get to know his bio dad, but was content and happy letting Mr Cake raise Pound as his own

I actually considered the Cakes being swingers, and Bulk being Pound's bio dad! Great minds think alike~ But I like to think Bulk would be a lot more responsible after his first oopsie baby. Still, odds are high Pound and Pumpkin aren't biologically Carrot's, the Cakes get up to some freaky shit after hours. Carrot dun care, he lubs his babies. You, uh, ya sure the Cakes didnt have a swingers night with Bulk at one point cause Pound is seriously looking like Feather Weight's long lost younger (humongous) brother XD Also, while Pound may be strictly dickly, his sister is lesbian af and maaay be haboring a years long (one sided?) crush on lifetime bestie, her highness princess Flurry Heart. Lifetime friendship? Im glad you asked!! Sure, their first meeting as wee babs may have gone rather badly but hey, shattered the ice at least. Noooot totally sure how their friendship developed but I'm seeing a very close, loving relationship as they grew. From long detailed letters back and forth while they were in their respective homes, to unbridled excited hugging and squealing when they were finally reunited. Gossip, crushes, make overs, kitchen raids, nail painting, late night sleep overs, watching Pumpkin's favorite old horror movies, dappling in the dark arts from restricted books Flurry "borrowed" from Sunburst, it was a bff heaven when they were together! Also, Pumpkin was one of the very few ponies that could coax little Skyla into acting like a kid every so often. Pumpkin is really Flurry's sole friend for many years, and one of the few ponies in her life the princess could actually just BE with. She wasn't a princess with Pumpkin. She was someone Pumpkin would steal pjs from and shamelessly stretch them out to be more comfortable, someone Flurry could spoon against and drool and snore in her hair (not that Pumpkin was thrilled by this), someone Flurry could get angry and swear and throw a fit in front of, she could gorge herself on sweets and not have to worry about judgemental whispers...someone who would hold her as she cried and hyperventilated through a panick attack. Pumpkin didn't look at Flurry with blind adoration or desperate hope that Flurry would shine her favor on. She was just FLURRY. A best friend that was loved and teased as any other best friend treats the other. And she ADORED Pumpkin for giving her this ONE blissful refuge against the pressures and expectations of her life. When she snapped and fled, she wrote Pumpkin the biggest letter filled with apologies and tear stains. While her friend was heartbroken to be left behind and not be able to help Flurry during her meltdown, Pumpkin comes to understand that Flurry needs to do this journey on her own. She assures her that she loves her and she is always HERE no matter what. She's supportive and encouraging, and their friendshio reverts back to their long, long letters and anticipation of when the other will reply. They share every detail of their lives apart and longing to see each other again. Reading Flurry's travels...the ups and downs...her excitement and healing the further she goes from home...her lovers and relationships...sigh. Pumpkin still desperately wishes she could be there...and pushes the other feelings down
