So Fluttershy was a really kind, loving, indulgent mother.......that very much expressed love for her darling Rosie-Posie by showering her with delicious baked goods, the same way Flutters' mom did for her when she was a filly. Except maybe Flutters is a bit too indulgent, and the servings that were fine for fast-growing Featherweight and bottomless pit Bulk Biceps were a bit much for a school aged filly. Still, a cavalcade of treats always awaited Rosie after a long day at school, or at any kind of celebration, or whenever she was feeling sad. And so, very unfortunately, would begin Rosemary's unhealthy relationship with food.....
(For those of y'all curious, pictured are peanut butter cookie cups with chocolate fudge cores. They're light, fluffy, and delicious, by which I mean Fluttershy probably jammed enough butter in there to choke an elephant)

aw, this is so adorable!! good art update as always- i love seeing more about rosemary! i can relate to her own relationship with food in a way- though i also enjoy reading more about soft parent relationships!!

2020-05-13 02:11:54 +0000 UTCThis is so sugary sweet I think it gave me a cavity. I can see how things can be pretty sad though too. Poor Flutters only ever wanted to show her baby that she loved her and she ends up inadvertently giving her daughter an eating disorder. I don't think Rosemary would ever show any outward resentment towards her mom, but is it possible she might on the inside?
