First thing that popped into my head was Coral.... because she looks all soft and beautiful, but mess with her and she'll cut a bitch. Might or might not work, depending on where you're going with her character.

EDIT: Ipomoea (from Ipomoea aquatica or water morning glory with lovely flowers) and Bluestar (for the lovely flowers in her mane and her gorgeous eyes).

Plumeria-is a tropical flower Fuchsia-is also a tropical flower. Morning Glory-more mlpish but is also a flower lol. Ocean Song-I see her being a good singer. Ocean Pearl- she seems like a beautiful pearl among oysters
