potential new nextgen from an AU storyline I'd like to explore. "Sunflower" appears quite kind and sweet, and is an associate of Chakra Blossom.
Stormy is very, very frightened of her, for good reason.

Oh yeah, her. I later redesigned Sunblower as a batpony, I believe you can find her on my DeviantArt. If I'm recalling correctly, she was meant to be the leader of a creepy cult that believed bat ponies, having been created by Nightmare Moon to be her private army to usurp Celestia, were inherently cursed creatures of darkness and wickedness. The cult believed they had to purify themselves by worshipping Celestia, showing their dedication through ritualistic branding with "sacred celestial flames", basically using a hot iron brand to sear sun insignias into their flesh. I considered a plotline where Chakra became a second leader figure within the cult, his natural charisma quickly winning him Sunflower's favor and high status among the members. Stormy by proxy gets enticed by the cult, who are all very nice to him at first, but, well, long story short, Sunflower at some point orders her followers to hold Stormy down and brand him when he threatens to expose the cult to the public. It was all very unfocused and sort of needlessly edgy, so I dropped it. I did plan on reusing the Sunlight cult for Ash's backstory, however, with her possibly being Sunflower's daughter.
