While the Ace Attorney anime is overall not as great as playing the actual games, I will forever advocate watching the anime version of Turnabout Big Top. It's a step up from the game version in every way. Obviously not having to slog through the two days and Moe's testimony are a big step up, but on (big) top of that, it does some actual fun stuff like having the defense team and the circus members stage a live performance recreating how the murder went down in the middle of court, Regina's breakdown and self-blame is expressed in a tearful apology made in front of the entire courtroom where she gets to promise to Acro's face that she'll watch over his brother until he wakes up from his coma, and- the biggest improvement of all- THERE'S NO LOVE TRIANGLE. I'd have to go back and watch to be absolutely certain, but I'm pretty damn sure neither Max nor Trilo express any kind of amorous feelings towards Regina, which makes the whole thing SO much less uncomfortable. I dunno if these changes being made to the playable version would be enough to salvage it entirely, but I figure they'd handily put it above Kidnapped on this list, maybe Rite as well. Also the #1 spots continue to be objectively correct. Legacy is GOATed.
