Sneak Peek at my New Video!

Believe it or not there actually is a reason why the Butler told Harry about the whole "oh hey your father killed himself on his own glider here". Now when I was a kid I kind of just assumed the butler only just now realized that Harry had become the Goblin and had this bad blood with Peter thus why he was trying to square it out but... yeah that's certainly not the case if you look back at the film but there is actually a better reason. Yeah see the whole Butler thing was a rewrite in the script. The original end for this movie was just having Sand Man as this giant monster threat that Spider-Man couldn't beat on his own but instead of Peter asking Harry for help Peter just went to try and fight him anyway who was just wrecking havoc in New York. You want to know who was the one who actually told Harry about the whole "his father killed himself" that would of made sense and would of actually led to an emotional scene instead of a cop out one? MARY JANE! Yeah Mary Jane wasn't originally supposed to be the damsel in distress again as believe it or not I think Rami originally learned his lesson about 3 peating that shit. She was suppose to motivate Harry into helping out Peter. And hoenstly it would of made sense: remember Peter didn't tell Harry because Norman promised him not to... but I'm pretty sure once Mary Jane found out Peter being Spider Man she asked him a bunch of stuff liking about "hey do you know who was that Goblin guy who kidnapped/nearly killed me at least two times?" and Peter told her. Maybe Mary Jane promised not to tell Harry but if her BF is major trouble I'm sure she'll rescent that promise which would of led to an emotional scene of Mary Jane actually confronting Harry and pointing out how much of an evil psycho Green Goblin was. Remember Harry never personally encountered the Goblin like say Mary Jane was so she can be more upfront about it and get Harry over himself to actually be a hero with those powers and a villain and thus you know Harry and Peter teaming up at the end makes way more sense. Why did they change that? Well the thing is that the original Script had Sand Man and Harry Goblin as the villains but the studios wanted them to put Eddie Brock/Venom in them as well due to his popularity. And due to Spider Man 2 not doing as well as Spider Man 1 the executives had more reason to push and as a result Venom was added in and a bunch of other things and stuff was rewritten. And I'm pretty sure it was some studio doofus who also wanted Mary Jane captured again because "hey that worked out so well the last couple of times" instead of you know going with the original version. Looks like a very solid look at this movie but just wanted to point that out for you Schafrillas man.
