Bug testing

very excited for this update! At the risk of pestering, any news on the open beta?

It would be nice that an open beta will appear before Friday. But I'm not going to rush anyone

He did his first round of proofreading/bug catching last week, so technically yes. As for his post yesterday, I haven't seen any comments about people finding bugs, but that doesn't guarantee anything (he may have asked to send in bug reports via pm to keep things less messy). It's also possible that one of the initial testers found something major right after he posted and that's being worked on. Edit: Nerion mentioned in a different reply that he's doing several sets of bug testing with small groups (2nd group getting the version with the bugs the 1st group caught fixed and so on).

Are you playing the previous version, or the current bugtest one? In either case, F1 should open a menu for you to edit keybindings if that's the problem. A fresh install (after moving your save file) would probably also fix it, provided it's not a stuck key or controller button.

i didn't know where to ask this so here goes; my game goes to ''skip'' kinda mode where every convo etc. is skipped and i can't reach menus either. normal keys dont work. i think i accidentally changed my layout and i dont know how to revert. any help would be appreciated

Maybe not, he's either doing random people or he hasn't sent links out yet (pm'd him about 30 min after he posted, and nothing yet)
