What a difference some detail makes!
Added 2021-02-05 21:25:53 +0000 UTCTwo stages of a commission painting here. The lighter one is earlier. I darkened up the whole image so that I could sculpt with tones (it had been too light to do so, especially in that bright cheek area.)
I also started using a rake brush that really is wonderful for form and fur.
