About H events

We have reached second milestone goal. Thank you guys so much. I don't really know what should I write right now to let you know how thankful I am. Well, let's get down to business then.
From now on I will be running polls frequently but not regularly. Hmm, it's not that exciting right? Every one is probably looking forward for third goal right?
Today I want to ask you about H events. Do you prefer to make multiple choices during event or is it okay to just let Ravy decide what she want to do? Or maybe even you want to have a complete control of the situation?
1. Letting Ravy decide is easiest and fastest to write. I have to deal only with clothes and add few different dialog boxes depending on what she already done in previous events and what not.
2. Having multiple choices creates branching structure and it may lead to different outcomes. Player will have to reload the game once or twice to see all possibilities.
3 .Third option is similar to the second one but whole event is divided on few stages and player can decide when to advance to the next stage, or even stay in first stage till the end. They might be few repeated dialogues here though...
In next version you will see how this type of events looks in the game but for now I just wanna know on what I should focus the most.

2016-01-29 02:36:19 +0000 UTCWell, having multiple options is good because player can choose which one match the identity but he can choose to do something too hardcore too soon and I would like to avoid it somehow. This way is easier because I just have to make one version of text while in other options it may be very complicated. Eh, I already made event with option 3 and its super messy... There are probably more then 60 labels and I don't even count other conditional branches.... Don't worry Hakor, it is exactly how you say. I want make it a bit more personal based. And speaking of masturbation... Well, it's fun and all but in time it will be simplified. I have to do that or 90% of dialogues would be about it.... Thanks you guys for votes and comments, it's helpful.
2016-01-28 14:18:57 +0000 UTCmhm... you could combine it with the masturbation (wich i totally like, that i can choose what she thinks of) if you let her think about the guy in the bar who wanted to see her pantys, she could develop a liking in showing herself to people... if she thinks about the "grope-guys" she´s starting to enjoy getting groped but still wants to leave her clothes on. If she plays with her breasts ... you know what i mean^^

2016-01-28 13:02:50 +0000 UTCI think the easiest solution on the writer is to have decision points before the H-scene that basically effect whether or not the scene plays at all. Something like "Do you go talk to X?" If you do, an H-scene happens, if you don't, it doesn't.

2016-01-27 15:51:00 +0000 UTCI like letting the heroine decide, but sometimes writers aren't able to match the h scene with the identity she's built at that point in the game, and it may feel very off. Despite this, it's probably far easier for you to go with this option cause it's way less taxing on you (you're working on this solo right?). 3 would be great if you have the time/money.
