Two more Grisaille
Added 2020-03-11 19:20:14 +0000 UTCOk so .... I mixed up WAY more 'black' paint than I needed and I want to use it all up rather than trying to find a place to put it. So I'm just painting these greyscales pretty much every day until I use it up. I intend to try a different color treatment with each one but sometimes when I'm rolling on painting I just fall back into brainless paint mode and fail to experiment. I might have to like, sticky note reminders to my own forehead!
All of these are study paintings in which I am using reference photos I've taken at zoos and nothing else, which is why they're kind of boring? But I don't feel mentally, emotionally, or spiritually up to handling a really big work with a bunch of different parts. I'll tackle that when spring really gets going :P
