Oil painting all day!
Added 2019-10-04 04:29:25 +0000 UTCSo I got started with the new oil paintings and I’ve really been loving them. The only trouble is that they take longer, I have to be very careful of all the animal hair floating around, and I have to stick them in the oven when it’s time for a new layer to dry them out. Other than that, they really suit my kind of work style. The tubes I got are so ridiculously pigment rich it only takes a tiny dollop to finish off several small paintings. It’s nuts!
I‘ve got three of them in the oven right now and will seal and scan the finished one tomorrow. The other two I’m still working on. I also have the two big ones I have an acrylic under painting done on. It FIGURES this happened right at the start of inktober but whatever. So long as I’m doing work :p
