Rescued House Finch
Added 2018-03-04 16:27:49 +0000 UTCThe other day I noticed a male house finch trying desperately to scoot its way up the pole of our bird-feeder to get food. It made a little leap but couldn't reach, unable to fly more than an inch at best.
I caught him with a towel and my roommate and I called a bunch of places to see who could take him and then drove him an hour down the coast to an animal hospital. It took a while but it was worth it!
