Because of that, there's a persistent fan theory across the internet that Stan "The Man" Lee is secretly playing the same Marvel comic book character in all of his cameos! Probably the most well-known theory is that he is playing Uatu the Watcher, but other ideas and theories have surfaced that range from him playing the villainous Kang the Conqueror, the enigmatic One-Above-All, or perhaps even a very lucky Time Lord.
