We're still in "finding Gannon a job" land over here, but there's been lots of very cool progress along with lots of jitters about making the right decision and gambling with different potential offers. Because Gannon's been working hard on tests for various companies, I've been working hard on housework, meals, and dog walks on top of my own work. Understandably, I hope, I haven't been able to get as much work done in the past few weeks as I wanted!
So, SURPRISE, more Wizard Barn Party! I had finished inks for this project a while ago but never finished toning and finalizing the pages. I need to get that done asap if I want to have this little story done and printed for my upcoming conventions in September!
SPEAKING OF CONVENTIONS!! After getting waitlisted for like everything, I finally have a few shows lined up! Unfortunately, there're all like within a few weeks of each other lol. I'll be at:
SPX in Bethesda, MA! September 9-10, tabling with my dear friend Ngozi Ukazu who makes the webcomic Check Please!
Superstar Comic Con in Savannah, GA! September 23-24, tabling alone but hopefully accompanied by Gannon as booth babe, assuming all the job stuff works out and we can take a little Savannah vacation together!
Geek Girl Con in Seattle, WA! October 7-8, AGAIN tabling with dear pal Ngozi. We're special guests at this one and will be promoting our new graphic novel, Bunt!, speaking on some panels and doing portfolio reviews!
