R20Converter 0.14.0RC2 (Jumpgate support)
Added 2025-03-24 22:37:11 +0000 UTCHi everyone,
I've been promising an update to R20Converter with support for Jumpgate for the past couple of months, and I did make a release on January 26th which worked and I've received good feedback on it, however, it's only been distributed through my Discord.
I've been meaning—practically every day for the past 2 months—to finish this build and release it, however I've been unable to get to it, and I've also been unable to build it for Mac either (which was a huge time drain with not much progress unfortunately).
So instead of keeping people waiting and sending the build individually any time someone tries to convert a Jumpgate campaign from Roll20 and gets an error, I'm releasing here the latest release candidate for the upcoming 0.14.0 release.
You'll find attached below the beta release for the next R20Converter update, which does add support for Jumpgate and also fixes an issue with finding some image files in the zip file, among other things.
I'll be without internet access for the upcoming weeks, so I don't know when I might be able to finalize this release, but I hope it won't get delayed much more than that and hopefully by next month, we'll have the official 0.14.0 release. In the meantime, I welcome all feedback, so please report any issues you encounter with the conversion of your campaigns.
Thank you and enjoy.

2025-10-25 00:54:06 +0000 UTCHi, Thanks! Glad it helped you out. That's because Roll20 has no differentiation between tokens and map tiles, so R20Converter will convert "map graphics" (as they call it) into either a Tile or a Token depending on whether they are linked to a character sheet, have a nameplate, and other similar attributes. They're not selectable because they were converted as tiles, likely because in roll20 they're not linked to a character sheet (Foundry really dislikes the idea of a token that is not linked to an Actor). If you switch to the Tiles layer in Foundry, you would be able to select/move/delete those images, and you can probably reimport them as tokens from the actors they were meant to represent.
