No wonder my hands hurt.
Added 2020-11-30 17:23:40 +0000 UTCI decided to share my grammarly update. This is how many words it checked over 7 days from the 22nd to the 29th.
My dream goal is to have it say I was more productive than ALL other grammarly users. Maybe that's what 99% means? I dunno.
Now I know for a fact I didn't write this much. I have discovered that Grammarly's numbers are often more than double of what I actually wrote. This week for example I checked two dragon knight chapters, and two test chapters for heather as well as the actual published chapter. Adding those word counts together I only wrote 28k words.
I know it isn't uncommon for me to write 1000+ words in an hour, but in most cases it's closer to 500 unless I really know where I want to go with the chapter. I also write at least two test chapters a week, exploring ideas to see how easily I can run with them. Sometimes these get used, or tucked away to be used later. In the dragon knight series I must have hundreds of these. I might do a video showing all the unused chapters and how insane my writing process is.
Anyway, work got snowed out today so I am home, AND the Heather chapter is written. A little editing and I will be ready to go for tomorrow. I am looking forward to it, as most royalroad readers haven't noticed the cover change yet. They should be in for a big surprise!
