A work of madness
Added 2019-06-25 16:30:24 +0000 UTCChapter 23 is eight hours of work. I had a completely different chapter loaded up but I suddenly saw a scene and felt a deep need to change my course. Normally I would write this and then step back from it for a day to clear my mind. I would then reread it with that clear mind and see where it doesn't flow well or make sense. It's funny how when your in the mindset of a scene you can't see obvious issues.
I am pushing myself to write more concise the first pass. This means 10k words takes eight hours instead of four. I still think I will make some changes but I like this path better than the one I had before.
