Golden Age Highschool Arc - Gohan's Friends [Concept Art][Sketch]

The original Highschool Arc for Gohan was always one of my favourite arcs in DBZ. Even though most of it was filler, the filler in the anime really helped to build the world Gohan was living in after coming of age and really helped to develop his relationship with some of the characters.

In spite of this, I still felt it was incredibly lacking. I wanted to see more of Gohan's highschool life and enjoyed the direction the author was going (even though Gohan was nerfed, a bad taste which really hasn't left and probably never will for me).

Taking inspiration from ALL the Japanese highschool anime and slice of life I've watched, I decided to revamp Gohan's highschool arc completely for my Golden Age. For those of you who have been keeping up with my past posts, in Golden Age, Gohan doesn't go to Orange Star Highschool, which is a public school.

In Golden Age, after securing a FULL scholarship, Gohan enters Golden Star High- a private school for the elite, wealthy students of Satan City and the top scoring students from all over the world. Hence why the uniforms with the golden star emblems.

Going with Gohan, Videl and Erasa also sign up at the school, since both their parents are super wealthy and they want to be with Gohan this time around. Reina also gets in on a sport scholarship, since she is incredibly athletic.

Along with the group of friends Gohan makes, among them is Monty - billionaire X.S Cash's son from the Bojack Arc who is now all grown up, and his girlfriend Taiga- who is the grand daughter of the planet's ruler, King Furry, who is obviously a rebellious delinquent.

Then you have Angela also coming to the school, since she is secretly intelligent and also got in, and joins Gohan's highschool harem.

And finally you have Chitose Tokugawa, who is the reigning Student Council President and voted hottest girl in all of the school by the male body. She is the perfect, model student in every facet, as you'd expect from a character of her type, and is also secretly the leader of the Astral Witches (my version of the Sailor Moon crew, only hotter).

So on top of the Cthulu Space Nazis and Nyarlathotep that Gohan has to deal with and the Astral Witches, this arc is going to be a lot of slice of life fun. I can't wait to delve more into it.
