Changing from per-video to per-month support (important)

Hello everyone,
As you know, you currently support me on a per-video basis. Patreon is requiring all creators to switch to a per-month basis going forward.
This means that I have no choice but to switch to per-month. My Patreon will switch from per-video support to monthly support starting this month.
WHAT THIS MEANS FOR YOU:
-Patreon has assured me that it will work as follows:
1. My tiers will multiply in value by 4x, to reflect that I always make 4 charged videos per month. For example, my $5 per video tier will become $20 per month, and will be named something like "4 videos @ $5 each".
2. Patrons will remain on the updated tiers, WITH THEIR MONTHLY MAX RESPECTED. This means the amount you donate will be unaffected. For example: If you currently pledge $5 per video, and you've set a monthly max of 3 videos (intending to give $15 per month), you will now be on the updated $20 tier, but Patreon will only charge you $15, to keep the amount you give the same as it was previously.
Again: If you find yourself on a tier that says it's worth more than you expect to give, don't worry. Patreon has repeatedly assured me that YOU WILL NOT BE CHARGED MORE THAN YOUR MONTHLY MAX. The only time that might change is when/if you switch your payment method, at which time I guess you would re-select a tier.
3. After the switch, I will add some new tiers, probably named something like "1 video @ $5", "2 videos @ $5", etc. so that people can still support "per video" for different numbers of videos a month.
-PLEASE DON'T CHANGE ANYTHING UNTIL THE SWITCH! If you make changes before the switch, it might mess with the calculation of your post-switch pledge.
-This will have no effect on my 4 videos per month schedule. I always make 4 videos a month and will continue to do so. That was never driven by the per-video model, but by my YouTube publication schedule. In fact, I might increase some months to 5 videos, because the YouTube algorithm has been punishing me worse than usual for missed publish dates.
-This will have no negative impact on perks. It's possible that you will end up with more perks as the tiers are adjusted, based on the actual amount you have contributed over the past months.
Thanks for bearing with me through this. It's frustrating, but hopefully it'll work out alright.

But I'm not a smart man, despite having watched your entire catalog. Gonna have to watch a few more times through before I steal some of your intellect via osmosis. That's how that works, I think. More plausible than God anyway. At least osmosis is a real thing.
