2023-11-07 02:57:42 +0000 UTCin the last two videos both theists seem to not be able to comprehend the difference between believing a god exists and worshipping said god. I've noticed this in many other apologetics videos too, and i think it demonstrates how caged their minds are. This is a common cult tactic for brainwashing to make words mean something different in their in group language, the term 'believe' is such a word to Christians where it means an ambiguous collection of a lot of different things. So now they can't even step outside their own conditioning to comprehend that believing something and worshipping it are not the same thing.

2023-10-31 03:23:38 +0000 UTCI get the feeling that this Daily Disciple guy aught to be a Muslim. In his mind God is all-powerful and acts on His whim. Nothing we can do affects His will. Applying our moral values on this god is pointless, and even blasphemous, "putting ourselves above God". The best he can do is praise his god, calling him "loving" and "merciful", i.e. judging him (but in a good way, as Logicked points out), submit to his will and hope he doesn't treat you horribly. It's probably only this whole "Jesus is part of God" notion that keeps him from crossing over. I understand that is frowned upon amongst Muslims 😁
