I have not watched most of these episodes since my first watch through 20 years ago. Usually I just jump from Leland's death to the season finale on rewatches. Watching them again, I definitely made the right decision doing that. I remember this being about the absolute nadir of the show and it does get better as it gets closer to the finale. There are probably 3 to 6 standout scenes between now and the start of the finale.

2026-01-28 21:26:21 +0000 UTCLook I'll say James' Sidequest its likely my least favorite part of the entire Twin Peaks universe (Them *trying* to make Malcom getting shot be edited like Maddie's murder felt particularly cheaply done ngl) And while the rest of the season it's not quite yet 100% free of shenanigans it does start picking up and then Lynch is back for the season finale And then see you in 25 years!
