Who is ready for Season 5????

I have watched The Sopranos probably 15 or 16 times, and it wasn't until my 13th or so re-watch a couple of years ago that I noticed one of my favorite tiny details in this episode: Tony is telling everyone that he's decided to move out.... AJ suggests maybe they will still get back together in the future.... ...as Tony turns around, opens the fridge, ✨takes the fucking package of gabagagool out of the fridge✨, turns back around, and puts it in his bag. "....Yeah, sure."

This episode is like watching a volcano finally erupt after years of it smoking and rumbling. I love that there are moments when it seems like they might actually reconcile and then a new fight breaks out. The writers on this show are masters of subverting expectations. And Edie Falco and James Gandolfini definitely earned their Emmys with their performances. It really feels like watching a 20 year marriage imploding when they're screaming at each other and bringing up all the bullshit that's been bubbling under the surface for multiple seasons. One of my favorite episodes. And the fact that I can say "one of" speaks to how good this show is. My absolute favorite is coming up next season. "Long Term Parking". Keep an eye out for it. I'm so hyped for you.

Ayoooo happiest birthday!!

James Adams

alot of stuff hits with this episode, but for some reason meadows moment of looking back with regret of her behaviour really gets me personally. im sure alot of us can remember looking back at how we were when we were kids and absolutely cringing at how we could act that way.

the fact that tony has two Chinese food related crashouts is so funny to me . the other being: "I've been dreamin' of that FUCKIN lo mein all the way the FUCK ova here".

I remember Marriage Story (2019) had everyone talking. It has nothing on this one episode. I can’t understand how it’s not praised more than it already is.

A Sopranos drop on my snowed in bday?!! So hype! 😆 And I LOVE this episode. James you once asked what our fave episode is, and honestly with this show, that’s a hard question. But this episode is definitely one of many and one of my favorite scenes between Tony & Carm. Just incredible acting.

Bro, the rest of the show from here on, is the whole reason myself and a lot of us I imagine have been here the whole time. Another beast entirely. The best, most sophisticated, and still somehow funny, and the most terrifying moments are yet to come. Enjoy brother! We are all so excited for the rest of this ride. If I could put it into words, I’d say some sort of metaphysical collapse is on the verge.

Obviously this episode is a gut-punch and the acting is incredible, but let’s not forget Tony’s legendary line; “Mothafuckin goddamn orange peel beef!”

William Davis

I dont think I’ve ever seen a more realistic portrayal of a broken marriage in anything. It wouldnt shock you to know James Gandolfini and Edie Falco both won Emmy’s
