2025-10-29 06:56:55 +0000 UTCThat soap opera Invitation to Love that keeps playing on the show reminds the viewer that Twin Peaks is a melodrama with tons of daytime soap opera tropes (over-the-top story lines, conspiracies, rampant adultery, dopplegangers, camp, etc). *Edit: and lots of cliffhangers* But of course, because it's Lynch, it's much more than a melodrama.
