Well the joke (that probably noone got) was that anon asked if Backy fused banana with watermelon. So Backy is showing anon the wonders of genetic modification (aka fusing). Green banana as in banana being fused with watermelon, turning banana green and melon as in banana being fused with watermelon, turning watermelon yelow.
