I’m a Samurai guy! Shogun was my favorite show of 2024. And Blue Eye Samurai was my favorite show of 2023. Which is a show you should definitely watch on the channel. I don’t understand how it doesn’t get discussed more. It was a masterpiece. And it won the Emmy for Best Animated Series. I watched the first season FIVE times.

2025-01-31 05:04:45 +0000 UTCThe book and show are obviously historical fiction but a lot of the history here is on point. The treaty mentioned in episode 2 is totally real; the Treaty of Tordesillas 1494. Such a well done show!
