The Wire Season 3 EP 3 & 4 Early Uncut Access

Season 3 is finally here! Happy to be getting into more of The Wire! Instead of expansion we are entering a more localized terror that's building within the character and landscape of Baltimore.

The Wire Season 3 EP 3 & 4 Early Uncut Access

You don't get that great of a look at the end of episode 3 of who is laid out in the funeral home, but that was Tosha. The one in Omar's crew killed in the shootout, not D's mom who I think you thought it might have been. Pure speculation on my part, but I think the Barksdale crew likely offered her family a discounted/free service for her in hopes that maybe the rest of Omar's crew would poke their heads out to pay respects and they'd have another shot at them. Could've worked too, bc the episode ends with Omar doing just that, only he was hiding in a dark alley outside.

I missed it too my first time through, but once you know I think that the writers meant for it to more obvious than it ended up being. There's obvious directed animosity towards Dante by Kimmy in the near future, that isn't as understandable unless you know why exactly she's mad at him.

I have no issue with the double upload. If it makes things faster and easier for you it makes no difference to me.

I was rewatching the "Stash House Gun Battle" scene and I noticed for the first time that Omar's man is the one actually responsible for killing the the girl in Omar's gang. He was running and blind firing behind him and ended up shooting her by mistake. Maybe this was already obvious, but not to me, and it kind of blew my mind. Anyway, thought that I would pass that on to James (or anyone else), that may not have realized that. In retrospect the fact that the entry would is on her forehead should have clued me in earlier, but hey, it's subtle.

I prefer separate uploads on the vimeo because I don't usually watch that week's episodes in one sitting, but if you need to make room on your account, I think other people's suggestion to include a timestamp for the second episode would be fine with me

Was going to hop in and point this out, glad someone else beat me to it! Also worth mentioning that he directed the season 2 finale shortly before passing away

Lily

Daniels still has his ring on because if he takes it off people know the marriage fell apart, and then their keeping up for appearances for her career does too. He has to wear the ring for her.

TES

"Collecting bodies in both manners'' made me laugh out loud! Awesome reaction as usual James! Glad we have so much more Wire to go! Having a lot of fun

MorkBork

Yeah, the new format works fine, but a time stamp is needed for people skipping episodes.

Yours truly, Johnny Dollar

re: "evacuate your women" in the presence of McNulty You need to hold that thought for Season 5.

MR

Did you catch the name of the person who was "deader than 2pac" it was "My cousin willy gant". That's a reference to the maintenance man who was killed in the first episode season 1, who Bird went to jail from by Omars testimony. A nice callback.

Ingemar Svensson

The detective that died, Ray Cole, was played by Robert Colesberry, one of the show's executive producers who died between the filming of seasons 2 and 3. So, the wake scene was kind of a tribute to both the character and the actor who played him. That's also why the character died off-screen.

Kana Kawase

Yeah, that's a sawed off shotgun. They're not as badass as they seem. The range is shorter and the spread is too squirrely. They're for up close and personal only. Points off for any show that portrays them otherwise. 😐

Linda

I effing LOVE the combined episodes. Keep in up. 😎

Linda

I dont mind the 3 and 4 put together but you need to add a time stamp between the episodes.
