I've always enjoyed that character and his "Johnny Boy!" has lived rent free in my head since 1994. Anyway, cool to learn something new about a movie I've watched countless times, so thanks for that :D Edit: After re-reading your comment I now realize that you meant Max Von Sydow did the voice of Vigo from Ghostbusters 2 :D But my original point still stands, since I've seen that movie countless times as well and never realized it's Max Von Sydow.

It's a Russian Orthodox church. The man in the bar who shoots himself is Wilhelm von Homburg who is infamously known as Vigo the Carpathian from Ghostbusters 2. Max von Sydow did his voice while Wilhelm did the physical work. He tragically passed away in 2004. This was his final movie. When the hand breaks through the window in the insane asylum, the fake glass actually cut Sam Neill's neck. Hayden Christensen's feature film debut. He's the Paper Boy met by Trent on the road. When Jürgen Prochnow lets the monsters from the other side into our world, originally in the script the entire town was sucked into the other side. When this proved to be too costly, an effects artist over at Industrial Light and Magic recommended that instead he "tears" himself apart like paper.
