Longlegs (2024) Uncut Reaction!

Noted! Not sure why the comment is doing that! I'm not seeing anything crazy.

I'd like to recommend Phantasm (1979). Never seen it myself, but it's attained cult film status. Independent film as well. Also, The Dead Zone (1983).

So I've tried three times to comment on YouTube now but my comment keeps disappearing, the only thing I can think of is that maybe YouTube is autoflagging it for some unknown reason. Anyway I'll just copy paste it to here instead >.< You should consider adding "The Blackcoat's Daughter" to a poll. It's a previous film from the same director, and it's one of my favorite movies of 2015. I like it better than Longlegs, although I really liked that one as well. The Blackcoat's Daughter might not win the poll because it's not a hugely famous movie, but it's more than worth a watch.

Another Horror film you should also checkout is The Menu (2022). It is a great horror film with some great dark comedic moments. Also, this is the one reaction that I highly recommend that you have dinner while you are watching it, because if you don’t this will make you hungry afterwards.

I found Longlegs a bit jarring. It was part normal fbi cat-mouse investigation and part occult supernatural horror. I feel Oz Perkins should have leaned far heavier into one or the other, because with the way it's split, I don't think there's enough of either to fully satisfy anyone looking for either of those things in the movie. It just kind of came across as a movie that couldn't decide what it wanted to be. I can't wait for Oz's next movie though.

Are you going to be doing the terrifier series? Low budget, perfection in practical effects, and Art the clown is a classic.
