2026-01-28 00:19:16 +0000 UTCPlease let me get your argument right. This is a sincere question. (I grew up among Christian fundamentalists, most of whom are Christian Zionists. I myself am not a Christian fundamentalist.) Is it your contention that Christian Zionists do not intend to take over Israel from the Jewish Zionists? In other words, it is an empty threat to the Jewish Zionists that they have anything to fear from Christian Zionism? I am just trying to understand the crux of your argument. Thank you for your attention to this matter.

2026-01-25 22:08:45 +0000 UTCTotally sick of Matt's reading of Christian Zionism. Xian Zionists are mostly con men and they have been selling "immanent rapture" since long before I was born. Vast majority of Israeli Jews do not believe in rapture at all. Theirs' is a mutually beneficial relationship, Matt's warning to Israelis "Xian Zionists won't want you around in the last moment" misses the point and is instructive to no one. This is a typical liberal Zionist lazy tick that he's held onto for too long, despite real sophistication in so many matters.

2026-01-25 18:26:28 +0000 UTCThat Libyans plot point was so wild to watch as an American 5 year old w no context. I didn't know what plutonium was, didn't know what Libyans were, and then by the end of the movie was like well I guess the Libyans can just use banana peels, everyone's ok, they don't have to be scary anymore! It was so casually racist. My sister and I still find every opportunity to work in a "and, uh, watch me for the changes" into a conversation.

2026-01-24 22:14:10 +0000 UTCHonestly, Carney's speech was about as Canadian as possible. Realizing the neoliberal fairytales spun out of the WEF don't land the same with the public, this is him putting on a good faith, polite and honest act just to end up reasserting that neoliberalism is supreme and the fairytale can come true if we take out the bad apple (the US)

2026-01-24 19:26:28 +0000 UTCUgh, glossing that Carney speech? Hes not suggesting we CHANGE anything. Hes not a revolutionary. Hes a Capitalist. He punches down at socialism at the exact moment hes pointing out that Capitalism sucks. Hes just pointing out OBVIOUS truth. Nothing revelatory or revolutionary. This is a smoke n mirror show. This is a neoliberal cup shuffling game. They always do this. He just thinks we need to train ICE better Im sure. He wants to limit Trumps power, but not limit Capitalism.
