Matt Lieb, has to be said more often: you're the most naturally funniest fecker going at the moment - always chuckling away in my car at your impersonations, songs, funny quips, self-deprecating humour etc. - come to Ireland this year!! This is the kind of shizzle we dig here (to use some American parlance).Comeeee onnnnnnnnnn!!!!!!

2026-01-18 16:33:04 +0000 UTCSomething else that wasn't journalism or art - that disgraceful "Screams Without Words" piece that the NYT still hasn't retracted. That can't even be called a distortion of the truth.

2026-01-18 01:18:09 +0000 UTCThe inherited/ vicarious trauma discussed is pure racism and a window into the sickest part of their souls. That past trauma does not apply to the human experience of suffering in a genocide. If it did the result of it would be empathy for the humans currently experiencing it in gaza. Instead the trauma only applies to their very specific race/religion/demographic. They do not care about children. Only the religion they happen to be born into. Its the same racism that says 50 beheaded babies is abhorrent but 10,000 dead children (likely many with heads blown off) is acceptable. Again the difference is race not dead babies or children. And what's so hauntingly evil about all this is the play that is made to garner sympathy from the rest of the world. These psychopaths know and fully understand how horrific killing children is. How deeply that crime is felt amongst any, even vaguely sane person. They know its value precisely and they play the victim and then do exactly that crime 1000 fold against another race/religion. It is the purest form of evil. Full awareness and consciousness of what they're commiting.

2026-01-17 17:38:17 +0000 UTCThreads on its own is enough to leave you traumatised, even when you’re not isolated. I saw it in the 80s as a teenager. I lived in Sheffield, so I found it extra horrifying! I still want to see Voice of Hind though.

2026-01-17 15:52:01 +0000 UTCJosh needn't worry about doing The Newsroom: Michael & Us did it, at least the first two seasons, episode by episode. And they did you one better. No, not Sportsnight, but Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip. Episode by episode. And if you don't know what that's about, think about giving SNL the West Wing treatment.
