2024-05-04 04:45:03 +0000 UTCI think the show just isn't as popular as it deserves to be because it's a "thinking persons show" in order to truly enjoy it you have to stay focused and really emerse yourself and keep thinking after the credits roll, most people just want something easy to watch and turn their brain off and chill when they watch a show or film, those of us who are patient get rewarded with art like this because we don't watch the show we experience it

2024-05-04 00:18:57 +0000 UTCWith the Trump thing, the show starts in 2015 when S1 aired and takes place mostly then (the 5/9 hack being May 9th 2015) and early 2016. But S3 aired in 2017 during that administration, so it was just a smart way of adding some more relevant political commentary which has always been a large aspect of the show as a whole.
